Terms & Conditions

  1. It is the client’s responsibility to check the reservation and ensure that the particulars contained therein are correct.
  2. The client shall pay Choices Retreats a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit in the sum of 50% of the total amount due for each person named in the reservation, at the time of confirmation of booking.
  3. The balance of monies due shall be paid by the client to Choices Retreats not less than 4 weeks prior to the date of the reservation. Bookings within the last 4 weeks must be paid in full at time of booking.
  4. CANCELLATIONS
    1. As per Point 2, the client’s 50% deposit for either program options is non-transferrable and non-refundable.
    2. Residential Program Cancellations – Accommodation
      The Residential Program incur resort accommodation charges, which are available upon request. The following accommodation cancellation charges will apply:

      1. No charge will be levied on cancellations or reservations shortened more than 29 days prior to the check in date
      2. Cancellations made between 14 and 28 days prior to Check-In Date will be charged 50% from the total reservation amount.
      3. Reservations that are shortened between 14 and 28 days prior to Check-In Date will be charged 50% of the shortened amount.
      4. Cancellations made between 0 and 14 days prior to Check-In Date will be charged 100% from the total reservation amount.
      5. Reservations that are shortened between 0 and 14 days prior to Check-In Date will be charged 100% of the shortened amount.
      6. Reservations that are shortened after checking in will be charged as per the original reservation
      7. No shows will be charged 100% of the total reservation amount.
    3. Residential Program Cancellations – Therapies
      1. Cancellation 30 days or less prior to the confirmed start date of the Retreat — no refund.
      2. Cancellation 31+ days prior to the confirmed start date of the Program or Intensive Day Stay Program: Full refund of the balancing payment if it has been made by the client; deposit is non–refundable.
    4. Day Stay Program Cancellations
      1. Cancellation 30 days or less prior to the confirmed start date of the Program — no refund.
      2. Cancellation 31+ days prior to the confirmed start date of the Program: Full refund of the balancing payment if it has been made by the client; deposit is non–refundable.
  5. CHECK-IN & CHECK OUT TIMES (FOR THE ROOM ONLY)
    1. Our check-in time is 2:00pm and check-out time is 12:00 noon.
  6. PAYMENT
    1. Payment is accepted by bank transfer only, and client should ensure the full amount of the program price reaches our bank account. Details of where payment can be made will be included on the invoice.
    2. If payment of either the deposit or the balance is not received by the due date we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.
    3. In the event of Program cancellation by the client, regardless of the circumstances, the following refund fees, minus the deposit, apply. The deposit is non-refundable, as mentioned in 2:
      1. Cancellation 30 days or less prior to the confirmed start date of the Program — No refund.
      2. Cancellation 31+ days prior to the confirmed start date of the Residential Program or Intensive Day Stay Program: Full refund of the balancing payment if it has been made by the client; deposit is non–refundable.
    4. Due to therapist cancellation or other situations beyond our control, we reserve the right to change bookings and shall inform the client as soon as possible. Alternative arrangements will be offered, but we do not accept responsibility for any costs incurred, including airfare.
    5. Choices Retreats is not held liable for flight costs.
    6. Choices Retreats reserves the right to offer discretionary discounts and this does not affect the status of any clients who have paid the full price and no discount will then become due to them.
  7. Choices Retreats is not equipped to treat actively psychotic or suicidal clients. Should a client become unmanageable or a risk to themselves or to others, we reserve the right to refer the client on to an appropriate international health care provider and/or ask them to finish their program immediately. We do not offer a refund for any time that has been missed from the original reservation. We do not except responsibility for any medical costs incurred. Choices Retreats can arrange an appointment with a consultant psychiatrist when necessary; however this is not covered in the cost of the treatment package.
  8. The client shall not use the property except for permitted use and shall not use the property for any offensive, noisy, dangerous, illegal, entertainment, immoral or improper purposes. The client shall not do anything which may be a nuisance or annoyance to Choices Retreats and its guests, staff or owners.
  9. The client shall keep all resort fixtures, fittings, furniture and effects in a clean and good condition and shall replace any articles which are destroyed or missing with articles of a similar kind and of equal value.
  10. Choices Retreats reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate use of the property or any of its facilities by the client in the event of any breach of these terms and conditions. The client will be required to vacate the property and Choices Retreats shall not refund payment or accept any consequential liability damages or loss.
  11. Choices Retreats retains all copyright license rights and sole exclusive ownership of the information, photographs and material displayed on its website. The material may not be modified, copied or used in any other way.
  12. Choices Retreats accepts no responsibility for keeping the website up to date and will not be liable for any loss by its failure to do so. We are not responsible for the contents of any links displayed on our website.
  13. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he/she has all the relevant travel documentation and arrives at the airport in time.
  14. Choices Retreats can accept no responsibility for delay or cancellation of any flights, train, buses or other forms of transport.
  15. Choices Retreats reserves the right to alter any facility accommodation or spa therapy treatment.
  16. The client must comply fully with all and any health and safety regulations introduced by Choices Retreats. The client must ensure that he/she is medically and physically fit and able to use our facilities. Clients who have injuries or illnesses are advised to seek doctor’s advice if practicing yoga. Choices Retreats at is not liable for any injuries to the client in his/her use of our facilities or participation in yoga or spa treatments. A client must always stop and rest if he/she is feeling any pain or sickness and inform the Therapist and Director of any previous injuries.
  17. Choices Retreats cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of personal possessions or valuables of the client.
  18. In the event of a client having any complaint then he/she will not discuss this with any third party and shall notify the business owner and Clinical Psychologist as soon as possible.
  19. Choices Retreats shall not be liable for any failures beyond its control. This covers natural disasters, war, ‘acts of God’, closure of airports, civil strife, accidents or failure to perform by third parties, including suppliers and subcontractors.
  20. Choices Retreats accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury or illnesses which may be received during the client’s stay or travelling to and from the Choices Retreats program.
  21. We recommend that all clients have adequate travel, cancellation and medical insurance for the duration of the trip.
  22. These terms and conditions shall be governed by Indonesian Law and the parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Indonesian courts in all matters regarding them.
